Dundee Marmalade Pot

Dundee Marmalade Pot

from 35.00

Jam. Jute. Journalism.

A hand-drawn, modern reimagining of the classic Keiller's Dundee Marmalade ceramic pots we're all familiar with. Available in 2 sizes, these pots are designed to be multifunctional and can be used for everything from housing plants, pens and utensils, to providing a vessel for drinks. Or simply as a decorative object.

Each pot is drawn by hand by Steph in her studio in a Victorian jute mill in central Dundee (so that's jute and jam covered) meaning no two pieces will ever be exactly the same. Each piece is imperfectly unique.

Slipcast in Parian porcelain, they are glazed inside and left matte and unglazed outside to celebrate the material qualities of the clay, which is marble smooth and delicately translucent. This translucency comes into its own when a tealight or candle is placed inside - creating a warm, hygge glow.

Material: Parian porcelain

Finish: Matte outside, glossy inside

Mid - 7cm x 8cm (ø)
